5 Reasons to Wait for the 2022 iPad Pro & 4 Reasons Not To

Apple is going to release the new iPad Pro 2022 with a new design. If you want something new and powerful you may choose the new iPad Air 5 or Apple 2021 iPad Pro models. They are expensive, but offer high performance.

These rumors of the 2022 iPad Pro put some of you in a difficult situation: Upgrade now or wait. While there are good reasons to buy a new tablet right now, there are also good reasons to wait for the 2022 iPad Pros.

So,  In this guide we will present you with the best reasons to consider waiting for the 2022 iPad Pro with rumors and good reasons to buy something else.

5 Reason to Wait for the 2022 Ipad pro:

1.     Wait for Wireless Charging

According to Bloomberg Mark Gurman and Debby WU claim the new ipad pros will feature wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.  However, Another major change would be wireless charging. This will allow iPad Pro owners to use their device to charge other devices such as iPhones and AirPods by placing them on the back of the iPad.

Currently, Apple iPads charge via USB-C or lightning. If Apple brings wireless charging to the iPad line, it will bring it closer to the iPhone. Newer iPhone models can all be charged wirelessly. In the December version of his newsletter Power On, Gurman also said that the 2022 iPad Pros will have wireless charging capabilities. If any of these features sound appealing to you, you may want to step back and wait for the 2022 iPad Pro models.

2.     Wait for New Design twist

According to Gurman and Wu, Apple is currently testing the glass back on the 2022 iPad Pro models. This replaces the enclosed area with standard aluminum. The rear glass will allow the iPad Pro models to provide wireless charging power and bring compatibility to the designs found on the iPhone 7, iPhone 8, and iPhone X.

However, In a new report for his Power On newspaper, Gurman states that Apple is actually testing the glass with support for wireless charging. He also says the device can charge AirPods. He also said that Apple plans to launch the iPad Pro models with a new design..

The report states that “Apple’s advanced prototypes for the iPad Pro with Apple’s large logo” were made of glass. The power is reported to be “to be transferred by the glass logo.” If this design change is something that sounds interesting to you, consider waiting.

3.     Wait For A New Apple Pencil

According to the rumors, Apple will launch a new pencil for a new ipad pro 2022.

At the launch of the 2021 iPad Pro we heard a lot about Apple’s new pencil. The accessory did not make Apple announcements, but we can certainly see a new pencil launch this year.

A trustworthy rewarder named Mr. White shared a photo of what could be a third-generation Apple Pencil. The details are rare, but the paint in the picture appears to have a shiny texture rather than a matte finish. Apple’s current pencil uses a matte finish.

The pencil in the picture also has a different tip. Clearly, the tip looks much bigger than the tips of the first and second generation Apple Pencil. These changes are supported by a video called the new Apple Pencil from an anonymous user on Twitter.

However, Another leaker named “Uncle Pan Pan”  also claims that Apple is preparing a new Pencil. It is not yet clear whether the new iPad Pro models will be the only iPads compatible with the new pencil or if the compatibility will extend to other iPad models.

4.     Wait for Improved Performance

The 2021 iPad Pros should provide enough fire power for most people, but the 2022 iPad Pro models can bring even better performance. Apple will probably work for a good performance for the new ipad.  According to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, the new iPad Pro models will have Apple’s M2 processor on board.

Gurman says the M2 will have an 8-core CPU similar to the company’s M1 processor, but will provide better speed and efficiency thanks to TSMC’s 4-nanometer process. A report from Nikkei Asia has suggested that Apple will release a new chip based on TSMC’s next-generation process of 3nm on these Beautiful iPads, but it seems that these systems are a twist.

According to TSMC, its 3nm timeline is delayed which means we may not see the process used for 2022 iPad Pros or 2022 iPhones. We are currently waiting for 4nm. However, Other improvements include a better modem that can enhance 5G and advanced front and rear cameras.

5.     Wait for more information

We don’t have a lot of information about the new ipad pro 2022.

If the new iPad Pro models come in 2022, we will probably hear more about them before Apple’s official announcement. You can expect rumors and leaks to reveal potential features of the device and its launch date, prior to the official launch date. If the device is on the way, we expect the rumors to continue and this leak will help you make an informed decision about your next tablet.

4 Reason Not To:

1.     Don’t wait for an OLED display

According to Korean  ETNews, Apple plans to launch the 11-inch OLED iPad and 12.9-inch OLED iPad by 2023. Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) also believes that Apple will enter the OLED tablet market in 2023 rather than 2022.

DSCC has released a new report and the company says Apple will release OLED models in both 11-inch and 12.9-inch models. The Korean book TheElec claims that the LG is powered by a 12.9-inch OLED panel for better resolution and better brightness. The panel is reportedly set to enter production by 2024.Elec also reports that LG is deploying OLED production equipment in various locations to meet Apple’s need for panels.

However, At one point analyst Ming-Chi Kuo thought Apple would bring mini-LED technology to the 11-inch iPad Pro by 2022. Now, Koo says “Apple may not launch new mini-LED products this year due to cost concerns.” He emphasized this in a new tweet stating that Apple is unlikely to launch new products with a new mini-LED display.

2.     Don’t Wait for Bigger Screen

If you want a bigger screen ipad don’t wait for ipad pro 2022. According to the rumors, Apple iPad Pro 2022 will not come with a bigger screen. In  His Power On Newsletter, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple engineers and designers.

“explored the largest iPads available in stores a few years from the start.”

Gurman says they are unlikely to reach 2022 because the company is currently focusing on “the redesigned iPad Pro of the current 2022 size.” So while we can see the iPad Pro roll over 12.9-inches, it probably won’t happen anytime soon. If you want a bigger screen, you will need to start browsing other devices.

3.     If you have a low budget don’t wait

If you are on a budget don’t wait for ipad pro 2022. Apple ipad pro 2022 is the most expensive ipad. We suspect that the new iPad Pro models, and their enhancements, will come in at the same price as the 2021 iPad Pro models. So if you are not ready to spend that kind of money on a tablet, start looking for alternatives.

4.     Don’t Wait for Deals

If you are thinking about an apple deal don’t wait for it. Apple and its retail partners are offering commercial deals on the new iPad Pros and we have seen occasional price reductions in weeks since its release. We’ll probably not see amazing deals coming out in 2022 so there’s reason to pay the full price for the iPad Pro 2022.
